Join us as we celebrate Master Blenders from around the world for the release of Kentucky Owl Maighstir Edition Bourbon Whiskey.
Gaelic for “Master”, the Maighstir Edition highlights the skills and palate of an undeniable legend in the Scottish Whisky industry, Master Blender Maureen Robinson. Recognised as a Keeper of the Quaich in 2012, Maureen has been involved in producing some of the world's most famous blends of Scottish Whisky, and she has brought a completely fresh perspective to marrying casks of Bourbon together to create a deliciously layered whiskey experience.
Through six whiskeys we’ll explore how Master Blenders build a batch of whiskey, from selecting casks, combining flavours and finding the perfect proof, it’s quite an art!
Presented by TWL’s very own American Whiskey Specialist Scott Allan as he shares insights from Maureen Robinson, Nagahama Whisky’s Yusuke Yahisa (creator of Kentucky Owl Takumi), and many more whisk(e)y blenders from around the world!
