Rye July is a month-long celebration shining a light on whiskey made from rye, the unsung hero of the whiskey world. We’ll feature a special cocktail menu dedicated to Rye classics, so come in anytime and try something new.

Made by rye whiskey fanatics in Brunswick, Melbourne, The Gospel is Australia’s only dedicated rye whiskey distillery. The Gospel is crafted and distilled from 100% Australian unmalted rye, which has been cultivated and nurtured by a single farmer in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia. Specifically chosen for its harsh climate, the rye from this area is small and dense – renowned for its distinct, extraordinary flavour and is unmatched from other areas. Rye imparts deep, spicy flavours of vanilla, cinnamon and dried fruit, with notes of pepper, grass and grain.

We’re lucky to have the The Gospel’s co-founder, Andrew Fitzgerald, visiting us for a session of all things Rye. Learn a little, and taste some beautiful whiskey. Plus there’s a couple of new limited releases to celebrate Rye July.
